This album explores various styles over its runtime such as chillsynth, ambient/drone, and mostly the self-made genre the album is named after, "Meltwave" which can be seen most expressively on the tracks Signal rush and Warped. One of the best modern electronic albums I've ever heard. This falls under the genre Com Truise coined as "Mid-Fi Synthwave Slow-Motion Funk" and just nails that vibe while being totally original.Killer sound design and compositions, I wish some songs would never end!These tracks make me feel like I'm escaping the Galaxy in a 2023 Countach at 99% the speed of light, blasting the Initiate pink cassette in a 1988 black and green Alpine tape deck.
